Kalmar Vatten AB is a municipally owned company responsible for providing residents with high-quality drinking water and treating wastewater before it reaches Kalmarsund. In Kalmar municipality, we have approximately 60,000 residents connected, as well as a large number of businesses and other community institutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now expanding our team with an operations technician!

As an operations technician with us, you will be part of the daily operations in the Wastewater department. You will work at our facilities with tasks such as flushing pump pits, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will also be responsible for monitoring alarms and processes. Work inside our treatment plant may occur.

Our operations technicians collaborate in planning preventive maintenance.

On-call duty may be included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have education in operations technology, maintenance technology, workshop technology, or equivalent, or comparable work experience. Experience in the water and sewage industry or maintenance, such as maintenance mechanics, is an advantage. You also have experience with database-based maintenance and documentation systems like Ifix and Idus.

It is beneficial if you have training in various areas, such as hot work, fall protection, as well as forklift and overhead crane licenses. A B driver's license is required.

In your professional role, you have the ability to work in a structured and meticulous manner, taking responsibility for your tasks. You enjoy working independently but also find it easy to collaborate with others and be part of a team. As our work can change quickly, it is important that you are flexible and can reprioritize your tasks as needed. You have a high degree of safety awareness.

If you are also technically skilled, a bit of a problem solver, and have a good mechanical understanding, you may be the right person for us!
